kayaking, and hiking! -Clara
today, we rented two kayaks from deep cove kayaks. Although it was a bit cold, we went for an enjoyable trip to jug island, where we went for a short hike. on the hike we saw an impressive banana slug, and several centipedes. it was a great way to learn about insects and animals! also we saw several crabs, and enough barnacles to last us a lifetime. on the way back, the sun came out, and it was much warmer than before. we had pizza and burgers for lunch in deep cove. soon we will be off to Stanley park!
