Mazda plant

Today we went to a Mazda plant to see how cars were made, and we went to a nuclear bomb site in Hiroshima.

First we went to the Mazda plant. In the entrance there were some cars that you could go inside. That was really fun. Then we went to the museum of Mazda, and we saw Mazda’s cars, and how they had evolved from three wheeled trucks, to the cars we drive today. Also we got to see where they make the cars, and we watched robots attach the windows to the cars. It was really fun and interesting.

After the Mazda plant we went to a play park for a little while, and we played hide and seek.

The bomb site we went to after that was very sad. they built a museum about the bomb, and we went to it. we saw how much one bomb affected the city, and we saw the differences between metal and glass before and after the bomb fell.

After that, we went to an old castle with a museum. First we walked around the castle a bit, and then we went to the museum. we saw samurai swords, and armor, and at the top of the museum there were binoculars and through them we saw three turtles in the castle moat. Also, we got to try on pretend samurai armor….

…….. and kimonos.
