Day 4: Travel day

“Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.”

Today we said goodbye to our cousins. We hope to see them again soon!

Then we traveled to Shanghai.

Observations from a jetlagged traveler:

• Twelve hours on a plane is a long time.
• Shanghai airport is really big.
• The kids won’t be blogging tonight as they’re horizontal at the moment….
• Derek was right about luggage – 2 suitcases 2 carry-on bags and 3 backpacks is about all we could manage.
• Blake is too heavy to carry. So is Clara. So am I.

We are all pretty tired and we still have another 3 hour flight to go(!) Wish us luck!
