Day 16: Ziplining

This morning the kids and I played a giant game of chess, and then petanque (basically bocce) while Derek went for a long run.

Then we did the ocean/pool combo that we love so much.

Then we went zip lining with a company called Flying Hanuhman. It was awesome. The guides were very confident and would hop on a line with you and catch up to you to surprise you. It worked.

Cole and I did one version and Derek, Blake and Clara did a freakier version. Cole and I did 15m abseiling (which is basically repelling down a hole 15 m high) while their group did 40m. Our longest line was 100m, while theirs was 400m.

Cole and I were pretty happy with the one we picked.

Tomorrow we are off to Bangkok so it’s our last night in Beatiful Kata Noi….
